Emma has been selected across three categories at the 2026 Highways Champions Awards

I am really proud to  have been selected across three categories at the 2026 Highways Champions Awards. I will receive a Highways Champions Medal and have been shortlisted for both the Innovation Award and the Process Change Award trophies.

The judging panel worked through a strong field of nominations and set the bar deliberately high. Being selected across all three categories is something I am genuinely proud of.

This recognition reflects the work we have been doing through PYE Management and Carbon Sherpa to make whole-life carbon management practical and accessible for the highways sector. It is not work you do alone. It takes clients who are willing to engage seriously with carbon, supply chain partners who commit to the process, and a sector that is starting to understand why this matters.

The Innovation Award shortlisting and the Process Change Award shortlisting both speak to the same thing: that the approach we have developed to highways carbon, rooted in PAS 2080 and built around the real challenges teams face on the ground, is making a difference.

I will share more details about the ceremony and the categories as they are announced. In the meantime, a genuine thank you to Jim Dawson for putting my name forward. Nominations like this come from people who believe in the work, and that matters more than any trophy.
