Reflecting on the RSTA Technical Training Day: Greener Roads Ahead
On 11 June 2025, I had the opportunity to join industry colleagues in Wrexham for the RSTA Technical Training Day, centred around the theme “Greener Roads Ahead.”
It was a privilege to be there as a keynote speaker and to contribute to discussions focused on decarbonisation in highways maintenance and construction.
The event provided a platform for sharing knowledge on how we can reduce carbon emissions and improve both financial and practical efficiencies across our sector. It was encouraging to see so many people committed to exploring sustainable solutions and practical ways forward.
Thank you to the RSTA for organising such a valuable day, and to everyone who attended and took part in the conversations.
