Highways UK 2025 – Building Resilient Roads and Launching Carbon Sherpa

Highways UK 2025 at the NEC Birmingham was a fantastic two days of discussion, innovation and collaboration. It was my first time exhibiting Carbon Sherpa, our new digital platform that makes PAS 2080 compliance practical and achievable for real project teams.

I also delivered a keynote session on ‘Building Resilient Roads: Strengthening Infrastructure Planning Amidst a Changing Climate.’ I spoke about how integrating whole-life carbon management with climate resilience helps deliver durable, low-carbon infrastructure.

Sharing the stand with Jim Dawson, Rob Hale and Mario Barba, we met many professionals committed to measurable carbon reduction. Visitors joined great conversations about how digital tools can simplify compliance and drive better outcomes.

The positive response to Carbon Sherpa showed that the sector is ready to move from ambition to action. Together we are building a more sustainable, resilient Highways network.
